About Hunter x Hunter
Hunter x Hunter (ハンター×ハンター, Hantā Hantā), pronounced "Hunter Hunter", is a
Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi with two anime adaptations.
The first chapter of the Hunter × Hunter manga series was published in March 1998, in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
The story of Hunter × Hunter focuses on a young boy named Gon Freecss, who one day discovers that the father he has always been told was dead is
alive and well. He learns that his father, Ging Freecss, is a legendary Hunter. Despite the fact that his father abandoned Gon with his relatives
in order to pursue his dreams, Gon becomes determined to follow his father's footsteps, pass the Hunter Exam, and eventually find his father to prove
himself as a Hunter in his own right.

Meruem was the most powerful offspring of the Chimera Ant Queen. He was known as the King of the Chimera Ants.
He was initially seen as a cruel and violent leader. The Queen's intention to give birth to a perfect offspring was
reflected in Meruem's mentality, with the Ant being haughty towards all. Born as the ultimate biological weapon, his
physical power is only matched by an unparalleled intellect. Meruem was born with an exceptional amount of aura, which
soon surpassed even that of the Royal Guards. By feeding on Nen users, he increased the size of his aura even further.
Looking inside the laundry room, Hinrigh says that while it looks abandoned, he has a feeling people were there just a moment ago.
Nobunaga adds that it was the same with the hidden room and then realizes something, leaving Hinrigh confused. Nobunaga explains
that if the Heil-Ly were expecting intruders to break through the walls, he should have assumed that their neighbors were working
with them. He adds that they used them to check for traps but blames himself for letting the Heil-Ly know that intruders were after them.
Gon climbs to the top of the World Tree where Ging is expecting him, and the two finally have a heart to heart talk.
In this occasion, Ging reveals his intentions to explore the world beyond the current boundaries known to mankind
and Gon tells him of all his adventures, while his friends keep following their separate ways, each one of them with
their own dreams and goals to pursue. During their talk, Gon remembers to give the double star hunter license Kite
gave him back to Ging.
"You never know what your adversary's ability is. A slight hesitation
can cause a fatal turnabout. The outcome is always a fluctuation.
That's the essence of Nen combat!"
